Gonzalo García
Managing Director / Partner
Founder and General Manager of PIX Colombia. After three years acting as Investment Director in PIX Miami for the Latin American region, Gonzalo has led the growth of the Colombian office of PIX since 1999, Opera since 2012, and Urban Capital, a real estate private capital firm. Gonzalo directs the operation and development of the companies, representing the interests of multinational clients, developers, and owners. Gonzalo participates in the strategic management of PIX, the development of relationships with international clients, the management of strategic alliances, and the identification and structuring of investment and development opportunities.
Gonzalo has personally managed the real estate needs of clients in Colombia such as Citibank, Bavaria, SabMiller, Sun Microsystems, United Nations, Computer Associates, AIG, Guinness, Carrefour, Pricesmart. He has participated in the structuring, development and commercial management of seven shopping centers in Colombia. He also led the real estate investments of the owner group of the newspaper El Tiempo represented in Procenter with its main asset, Atlantis Plaza. Its role in the definition of the investment strategy was complemented by permanent activity in the commercial, marketing and operation areas. In 2013, he structured the first real estate investment fund with institutional capital in Colombia for the development of Bazaar Convenience Centers, a company originally owned by PIX and the Colpatria Group until 2016, when PIX assumed control of Opera, the operating company of the real estate assets of the fund.
Mr. Garcia was formerly the CFO of Granahorrar, the third largest Savings and Loans in Colombia. In addition to his day-to-day financial responsibilities at Granahorrar, he participated in structuring Residential Mortgage Backed Securities issues of the bank for the local and international market, in coordination with Bear Stearns & Co. in New York. As a member of the Investment Banking team, Mr. Garcia also worked in mergers and acquisitions of Granahorrar’s interests, and structuring several issuings of real estate backed securities. Before joining the bank, Mr. Garcia worked for four years at Iserco S.A., a project management firm based in Bogotá, as Planning and Development Manager. He also worked for Era S.A. and Ibsa, construction and development firms in Bogotá.

Henry Gaona
Transaction manager
Mr Gaona is responsible for the office division of Bogota participating in multiple tenant representation projects for multinational clients and office space disposal for those clients.
Since 2010, he has participated in multiple transactions with global and local first-level clients, mainly in the Tenant Representation service. Among the most relevant experiences is , the consolidation project of 7 companies of the WPP group in a single site (6,000 m2), the consolidation of the Johnson & Johnson offices, together with “shared services” in a single building (12,000 m2), the relocation of the Daimler offices (3,250 m2) and the representation of Endava to locate them in their new headquarters in Bogotá (3,300 m2).
Before Joining PIX, Mr. Gaona was Administrative Support Manager for HSBC Colombia S.A. His primary responsibility for nearly ten years was the administration of the total portfolio of properties from the bank, leading the process of centralization and standardization of real estate operations, selection and negotiation of new offices, and project management. These experiences allowed him to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the needs of corporate clients.

Stefanos Gavriil
Investment Manager
Mr. Gavriil is responsible for the investment and development division of PIX. He structures proprietary and third-party development projects and investment sales across all Real Estate sectors.
Mr. Gavriil has led the sale of the shopping center “Bazaar Alsacia”, converted an industrial facility to office use of a Solinoff asset, and refurbish a 60-year-old abandoned industrial facility into a LEED GOLD turn key office facility, among other assignments.
Stefanos has more than twelve years of experience in real estate consulting, development and Private Equity across all sectors. Before joining PIX Investment Colombia, Stefanos worked as a Senior Analyst at Pramerica Real Estate Investors Ltd., London (Prudential Financial, Inc. U.S.A.) He was part of the investment team and the Global Merchant Banking Group. Within his responsibilities, Stefanos analyzed, modeled and structured multiple Joint Ventures (more than € 1bn) in various sectors throughout Western Europe. Previously Stefanos was an analyst with Cushman & Wakefield, part of the Leadership Graduate Program in London. He joined the Corporate Services department advising multinationals to optimize, acquire and dispose of real estate portfolios throughout the EMEA region. Stefanos has a Bachelor in International Business Administration from the American University of Paris and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. Additionally, Stefanos speaks seven languages: English, Greek, Dutch, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and German.
